Castle!

 Makin' the castle:

The castle seemed a bit tricky at first until I figured out more of what the tools do and how they work. I looked on YouTube for some tips making the wall around the castle. My idea was to make the walls have bricks at the top. I ended up found a video on making gears that showed me the how to work the ARRAY and OFFSET command on a basic level. I also messed around with the BOOLEAN SEPARATION to create the four windows on the tower, just applying what I know from Blender and Cura.

I had a lot of fun though working on the castle, it never felt too confusing trying to navigate the Rhino program or figuring out the tools (alright some tools are still a bit odd to me). Here is some screenshots of my end reslult:

  1. I love the small scale of this, tells a great story. I imagine there's an ex-king who lost his kingdom, but has walled himself in a tower, holding onto their kingdom with the tall flag.

  2. I'm impressed. Rhino is totally odd. I find it difficult to set my mind in any digital program/ecosystem especially because I work so much with the adobe programs.
